Does anyone remember the tribe? I believe it was an Australian serie, where the world was dominated by children and teenagers who looked amazing. Like a mad max meet Harajuku streetstyle. That was the first time I got inspired by fashion. A way where you could express yourself without saying a word. The tribe-style hit off in my teenage years where my hair was like a rainbow cloud and my clothes…. mainly black and decorated with neon accesoires. Too bad the other teenagers made it damn straight that we should all look like copies of each other. Doing something different leads to rejection and exclusion of the hive which is called highschool. I think highschool is the biggest suppression too many creative and talented kids which believe that grey copies lead to nowhere.
To those who feel like this… hold on, it will get better <3
