Back to school

IMG_9196 copyFor the past 3 months I worked as a graphic designer and photographer in an office.
I never had an office job before or a job that had a permanent place.
That might sound strange, but that’s a story for another time.
In those three months I definitely learned more about myself. Sitting still for hours is a struggle. I love to move, sitting still is a difficult task. But I also experienced the feeling of gratitude when your colleagues are happy with your results. As a graphic designer you work with creativity and sometimes it just chooses to stay home and sleep. It’s different from the appreciation of your groupmates on a school assignment.

There is a good reason why I finished working at the office. Next week I’m back at the university, learning all about c++ programming, statistics and artificial intelligence. Math and programming are not my strongest assets so I can’t really say I’m looking forward to it, although I’m very blessed to be educated at all. The other reason why I’m not looking forward to go study again is the feeling of being done with something. This job gave me a small insight how it was to work and owe some real money and it’s a wonderful feeling. I guess I’ve reached a point in my life that I’m done studying and I’m ready to work and explore new opportunities (blogging!). On the bright side, my study is in english and I hope it will improve my writing.
Aah well..just 6 months of intense courses and I can relax again.
